Menu design is an important project that will help restaurant owners to advertise their product and service better. One of the most effective way of designing menu is to use sensory language.
Sensory language helps customers to experience your words rather than just hear them – so they feel more emotionally connected.

It may sound like a strange fact but the same dish described using different words can make it sound more delicious and desirable and stimulate customer´s curiosity.

For example, instead of writing “chocolate cake”, you could write “double pleasure chocolate cake with a creamy ganache and crunchy nuts” or “luminous chocolate cake with hints of vanilla and a whisper of espresso”.

Sensory language can also help you differentiate your dishes from your competitors, and convey your unique style and quality.
